DALLAS - The UT Dallas track & field teams ended the 2025 season by breaking six school records at the SMU Invite at Washburne Soccer and Track Stadium Saturday.
Junior
Chisom Mbah placed fourth and broke her own records in both the shot put and discus. She had a shot put of 12.42 meters (40 ft.-9 in.), besting her old mark by more than three feet. Mbah passed her old discus record by two and a half feet with a throw of 34.36 meters (112 ft.-9 in.).

Mariah Gibson shaved .31 seconds off their 4x100 relay record, placing sixth in 48.51 seconds. .
Freshman
Rowen Hughes broke both hurdles records for the second time this season. She finished 15th in the 100 hurdles in 15.58 seconds and sixth with a 400 hurdle time of 1:06.58.Â
Sophomore
Ellie Suo-Anttila was only 2.53 seconds away from breaking the two-year-old 5,000-meter record.. She finished 14th in 19:54.93

The UTD men won two events with one record broken.
Sophomore
Zachary Carroll broke his own school record in the javelin by 6.5 feet, winning the event with a throw of 46.95 meters (154 ft). He also placed ninth with a long jump of 6.40 meters (21 ft.).
Freshman
Joseph Trevino won the 5,000-meter run in 16:28.74 as the Comets took the top three spots.
Jayden Chambless was second and
John Youssef was third.Â
Matthew Okansen,
Sam Bartels,
Joseph Hussey and
Rafe Premo finished second in the 4x400 relay in 3:19.56.
Freshman
Nicholas Hollandran the 800 meters in 1:56.91, placing fifth. Sophomore
Colton Dillard was seventh in the 1,500 meters in 4:06.63.
