FORT WORTH, Texas - The UT Dallas track & field teams broke 14 outdoor school records on the final day of the TCU Alumni Invite at the Lowdon Track and Field Complex Saturday.
The Comet women were responsible for nine new marks, and the men set five new records. Two more records were broken on
Friday, bringing the total to 16 for the weekend.
Comet Women's Highlights
- Sophomore
Alexia Callahan broke a three-year-old mark in the 5,000 meters by 51.03 seconds. She finished ninth with a time of 19:01.37.

Michelle Bakare,
Faith Lacey and
Mariah Gibson set a new 4x100 relay record in 47.69 seconds. They finished sixth overall and won their heat.
- Freshman
Grace Pritchard set a new 100-meter hurdles mark in 15.50 seconds. She also finished 11th with a triple jump of 10.62 meters (34 ft.-10.25), breaking the old record by more than two feet.
- Freshman
E'Mon Mason placed 10th in the 400 in 56.58 seconds. She broke the two-year-old record by 2.61 seconds.
- Bakare shaved half a second off the 100-meter dash record set in 2023 with a time of 12.22 seconds. She also set a new record with a 200 time of 25.21.
- The 4x400 relay team broke the record by 6.63 seconds in 3:58.79.

- After breaking the high jump record on Friday, freshman
Saniya Bosby shattered the long jump record set in 2023 by 2 ft-7.5 in. She cleared 5.45 meters (17 ft.-10.75 in.).

Comet Men's Highlights
- Sophomore
Alex Bozhilov finished second in the 5,000 meters, breaking the 2023 record by 6.61 seconds in 14:54.49.

Liam Simmons and
Blake Rippy made up the 4x100 relay team that placed fourth in 41.22 seconds, breaking a three-year-old mark.
- Hicks, a freshman, had record-breaking performances in the 100 and 200. He finished seventh in the 100 in 10.47 seconds and was 10th in the 200 in 21.37.

Rafe Premo, Rippy,
Franklin Perez and Simmons were seventh in the 4x400 relay with a record time of 3:17.21.
