SAN ANGELO, Texas - The UT Dallas track & field teams broke nine more school records and won two events on the final day of the David Noble Relays at LeGrand Stadium Saturday.
In a field of teams that included all three levels of the NCAA, the Comet men finished fifth with 52 points, while the women were seventh with 47 points.
Men's Highlights
- Both relay teams broke the school records they set last week with fourth-place finishes.

Jay Hicks,
Liam Simmons and
Blake Rippy broke their previous record by .44 seconds in 40.78 in the 4x100.
- The 4x400 team of
Rafe Premo, Rippy,
Franklin Perez and Simmons had a time of 3:15.02, breaking the record by 2.19 seconds.
- Graduate student
Jackson Tucker bested his own school record with a discus throw of 38.75 meters (127 ft.-1 in.).
- Freshman
Andrew Hopkins won the 800-meter afternoon race to qualify for the invitational race. He placed eighth in 1:56.89.
- Hicks qualified for the finals in the 100 and 200-meter dashes. He placed fifth in the 100 in 10.71 seconds and fourth in the 200.
- Simmons also reached the 200-meter finals and placed third. His prelim time was 21.77 seconds.

David Vasquez made the 400-meter hurdles finals and finished fifth. His qualifying time was 54.83 seconds.
Women's Highlights
- The 4x100 relay team of
Tia Billingsly,
Michelle Bakare,
E'Mon Mason and
Mariah Gibson won the race in 47.33, breaking last week's record by .36 seconds.

Abby Ellisor and Mason shaved .67 seconds off their previous 4x400 relay in 3:58.12, placing third.
- Freshman
Saniya Bosby broke her own record in the high jump by placing second with a height of 1.65 meters (5 ft.-5 in.). She also finished fifth in the long jump.
- Sophomore
Rowen Hughes broke records in the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles. She had a time of 15.30 seconds in the 100 and 1:06.24 in the 400.
- Mason finished fifth in the 200-meter dash finals. She had a record-breaking qualifying time of 25.14 seconds.Â
- Sophomore
Bharvi Varu ran the 800 meters in 2:26.27, placing seventh in the invitational race.
