ROCKWALL, Texas - After a historic individual medalist performance at the 2026 Lone Star Conference Women's Golf Championship, UT Dallas sophomore
Brooke Yount was added to the All-LSC First Team.
Yount, from League City, Texas, won the tournament by four shots after firing a third-round 66, which also set a new school record for best round. She also broke the three-round school record with a 75-68-66=209 (-7) and recorded 10 birdies and 10 eagles overall.
Yount shattered the school record for most eagles in a season and a career in 2025-26 with five on the year.
She joins Karen Alvarez and
Sofia Trevino as Comets who have won a conference championship. Alvarez was the American Southwest Conference medalist in 2023 and Trevino claimed the title in 2024.
