DENTON, Texas - The UT Dallas track & field teams broke four more records on the second day of the Bill Schmidt Invite at the Mean Green Soccer and Track & Field Stadium on Saturday, bringing the weekend total to eight.
Additionally, sophomore
Alex Bozhilov won the men's 5,000 meters in 14:43.41, shaving 11 seconds off his previous school record.
The other men's record came on junior
JD Koller's javelin throw of 47.21 meters (154 ft.-11 in.), placing third.Â
For the Comet women, sophomore
Alexia Callahan broke her own 5,000 record by nearly 21 seconds in 18:40.53. She finished fourth in the event.
Sophomore
Rowen Hughes also broke her 100-meter hurdles record in 15.17 seconds, placing sixth.
