ROCKWALL, Texas - UT Dallas senior men's golfer Tyler Durden earned two awards at the 2026 Lone Star Conference Championship Banquet on the eve of the tournament Sunday night.

Durden, from Austin, Texas, was named All-LSC Honorable Mention and selected to the LSC All-Academic Team. He leads the Comets with a 72.5 average, shooting 12 rounds of par or better on the year. Durden has compiled five top-10 finishes this season. 

Academically, Durden is an Arts Technology and Emerging Communications major. 

This is the third all-conference honors of his career, as he was honored by the American Southwest Conference twice.

The LSC Championship tees off with the first two rounds at 8:30 a.m. at the Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club.
