Box Score 3 ROUND ROCK, TX (04.18.14) - The UT Dallas softball team extended its winning streak to six games after a three-game American Southwest Conference series sweep over Concordia Texas in the Comets' final road games of the regular season.
The Comets (now 20-17, 13-17 ASC) locked up their third straight 20-win season and leaped CTX (now 15-22, 12-18 ASC) in the ASC standings with the three wins. UTD earned a 3-1 victory over the Tornados Thursday night, opened Friday's doubleheader with a 6-3 win and completed the sweep with a 4-2, come-from-behind nine-inning win over CTX in the series finale.
UTD, which has now officially secured an ASC playoff spot for the second straight season, closes the regular season next weekend with a three-game home series with Ozarks.

GAME 3 - UTD 4, CTX 2 - 9 inn. (FRIDAY)After falling behind 2-0 early, the Comets rallied with four unanswered runs, including two in the top of the 9th, to complete the sweep of CTX with a 4-2 victory.
In the top of the 4th, Aragones cut the Tornado lead in half with her first long ball of the season, a solo shot to left-centerfield. The Comets later knotted the game, 2-2, with a two-out double by Ramos, scoring
Taylor Ervin, in the 6th. After two scoreless frames, the Comets took advantage of CTX's only error of the game when Tornado third baseman threw the ball away on Feikis grounder, allowing both Thomas and Aragones to score.
Davison (5-8) picked up her second win of the series as she tossed 5.0 scoreless innings in relief of UTD starter
Jessie Richardson. Davison allowed just one hit and had one strikeout. Richardson gave up two earned runs on five hits in 4.0 innings. Aragones was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
