ABILENE, TX (10.27.18) - The UT Dallas women's cross country recorded a third place finish at the 2018 American Southwest Conference Championships Saturday morning, hosted by McMurry University.

Hollee Ratliff paced the Comets and picked up first team All-ASC recognition for the third straight fall as she placed sixth overall with a time of 25:00 in the six-kilometer race.
Katherine Merola was UTD's next finisher in 16th place at 26:98, earning second team All-ASC honors, while
Sara Hartke was 20th at 26:36,
Gina Fossati 29th at 27:00 and
Anna Schaeffer was 34th at 28:25.
Hardin-Simmons captured the ASC team title, snapping the Comet's two-year winning streak, with a total of 56 points.Host McMurry was second with 80 while the Comets finished with 84 points for a close third place. LeTourneau finished fourth with 90 points, East Texas Baptist fifth with 113 points, Mary Hardin-Baylor sixth with 151 points, Concordia Texas seventh with 170 points, Ozarks eighth with 179 points, Sul Ross State ninth with 220 points and Belhaven 10th with 256 points.
LETU's Alexis Segura claimed individual honors with a time of 23:51 while UMHB's Caroline Vining was second at 24:14.
The Comets will next compete at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Championships, held in Mt. Berry, Ga., on Saturday, Nov. 10
