MT. BERRY, GA (11.10.18) - The 2018 season for the UT Dallas men's and women's cross country teams came to an end Saturday afternoon as both teams competed at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Championships, hosted by Berry College.

The Comet recorded a 14th place finish in the meet while the UTD women placed 25th championship.
On the men's side,
Andres Uriegas paced the Comets with a 56th place finish, completing the eight-kilometer course in a time of 27:30.
Cannon Leavitt was next to finish for UTD, placing 64th with a time of 27:39.
Trent Sakakini placed 87th at 28:09,
Christian Kondor was 111th at 28:35,
John Gabriel was 132nd at 28:51,
Chris Reyna was 145th at 29:02 and Ali Nourani was 186th at 30:16. There were 239 runners in the 33rd team field. The Comets were the top American Southwest Conference with seven teams from the league represented.
For the women,
Hollee Ratliff was the Comets' top finisher, recording a time of 25:42 for 94th place in the six-kilometer race.
Katherine Merola was the Comets' second finisher in 102nd place at 26:00 while
Gina Fossati placed 156th at 27:30,
Lilly Lewis 186th at 28:56,
Genna Campain 202nd at 29:57 and
Lillian Hannigan 207th at 30:30. There were 237 runners in the 32-team field.
