RICHARDSON, TX (06.05.18) - Fifty-one UT Dallas student-athletes were recognized as the American Southwest Conference released its Academic All-ASC teams for winter/spring sports Tuesday.

Comet baseball leads the pack with 12 selections while softball had 10 picks, men's tennis eight, women's basketball seven, men's golf five, women's tennis four, women's golf three and men's basketball two. Full list of honorees below.

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified academically as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student during the competition season and have been in attendance and completed at least one academic year (two consecutive semesters) at the certifying institution. In addition he/she must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average based on a 4.0 scale as certified at the conclusion of the academic semester in which the ASC sport championship is held. Must be a letter winner in the season to be honored.
