The UT Dallas women's cross country program recorded its ninth-straight top three finish at the ASC Championships this fall, placing third at this fall's championship in Clarksville, Ark., in October.

Freshman Madylin Herrera claimed first team All-ASC honors with a third-place finish individually while earning ASC Freshman of the Year recognition. The fourth-ever Comet to claim the league's honor as top freshman, Herrera posted a time of 24:10.7 in the six-kilometer race.
UTD ran five regular-season meets to warm up for the ASC Championships this fall. The Comets opened the fall with back-to-back runner up finishes at the Nicole Leman Invitational and the East Texas Shootout and closed the regular season with a third-place finish at the Bill Libby Invitational.
