WACO, TX (09.22.21) - The No. 19-ranked UT Dallas men's golf team returned to action Wednesday for a dual with Mary Hardin-Baylor and upended the host Cru by six strokes at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course.

The Comets finished the 18-hole event with team score of 289, besting the Cru's 295. UTD sent 19 golfers to the dual while the Cru had 16 golfers, however, only six players comprised the "teams" with the top four from each team counting in the final scoring.

Comet Andrew Chow tied for second overall with a three-under 69 on Wednesday while Tyler Reitano sat in fourth place with two-under 70. A quartet of Comets tied for sixth place all at even par, with Ryan Kropp, Jared Harvey, Davis Archer and Cade Eldridge all shooting 72. 

Kropp, Harvey and Archer were joined on the "team" by Advait Chutke (73), Charles Lippa (75) and Nick Jackson (77). Chutke tied for 12th, Lippa tied for 17th and Jackson tied for 25th.

The Comets return to the links Sep. 27-28 for the UMHB Fall Invitational, held at Sammons Park Golf Course in Temple.
