RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas sophomore Rebeca Betanzo was named the American Southwest Conference Women's Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week for her performance this past weekend.

The Prosper, Texas native finished twentieth at the DBU Orville Rogers XC Opener in Grand Prairie, Texas, and was the top NCAA Division III runner. Her 5K time of 20:39.5 was a personal best and helped the Comets finish third as a team.

UTD will race again on Saturday, September 10 at the University of Dallas XC Invitational in Irving, Texas.
