RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The UT Dallas men's cross country team finished in 14th place at the NCAA Division III West Regional as Riverside City Cross Country Course Saturday morning.
The American Southwest Conference champions scored 393 points and were the top team from the league in the 23-team field. Pomona-Pitzer won the meet with 45 points, followed by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps with 93.Â
Senior
Graeme Maclean ran the 8K course in 25:45.2 - the ninth fastest time in program history - to place 38th. ASC Freshman of the Year
Frank Douglas was 66th in 26:32.3 and senior
John Youssef was 97th with a mark of 27:03.9. Junior
Matthew Chimitt had a time of 27:12.9 and finished 105th and senior
Devan Bailey rounded out the scoring in 108th with a time of 27:15.4.
The UTD women sent a pair of juniors to the regional.
Sage Herrera ran the 6K course in 25:05.9, placing 97th and
Rebeca Betanzo was 116th in 25:51.2
