SAN ANGELO, Texas - The UT Dallas men's and women's track & field teams broke six school records at the David Noble Relays hosted by Angelo State on Friday.
For the men,
Kameron Quinn broke both of his own sprint records. He shaved .01 seconds off the 100 meter dash mark, placing 12th in 10.76. Quinn also finished 10th in the 200 in 21.88, besting his old time by .05 seconds.
Trent Sakakini and
Graeme Maclean were second and third in the evening 1,500 meter run. Sakakini had a time of 3:59.85 while Maclean was just behind in 4:01.50.
In the throwing events,
Lucas Wick bested his shot put record by 19.5 inches, tossing it 11.92 meters (39 ft.-1.25 in.) for a 19th place finish.
Jackson Tucker also broke his own mark in the discus by more than three feet. He recorded a mark of 37.90 meters and finished 20th.
The UTD women secured two more records on Friday.
Tia Billingsly took .42 seconds off her own 200 meter record in 27.01 seconds.
Sage Herrera finished fifth in the afternoon 800 meter run with a time of 2:23.54. It bested her old mark by 4.59 seconds.
Men's Notes

Rafe Premo ran a personal best in the 400 meters in 51.22, placing 16th.

Griffin Davis recorded two best times, finishing 27th in the 800 meter afternoon run in 2:07.37 and third in the afternoon 1,500 in 4:12.40.

Jayden Chambless was the top Comet in the 5,000 meters in 16:00.86, finishing 13th.
- The men'x 4x100 team of Quinn,
Rami Habbas,
Chiemeka Ejikeme and Premo were sixth in 42.58 seconds.
- Premo, Quinn, Ejikeme and Sakakini ran the 4x400 relay in 3:28.39 and finished ninth.

Dami Oyadiran took fifth with a long jump of 6.23 meters (20 ft.-5.25 in.).
Women's Notes
- Billingsly was 24th in the 100 meter dash in 13.07 seconds.

Rebeca Betanzo placed 14th in 5:24.64 in the 1,500 meters.

Hannah Edwards recorded a long jump of 4.57 meters (15 ft.), finishing 17th. She was also ninth with a personal best javelin throw of 30.80 meters (101 ft.).

Chisom Mbah was 23rd in with a shot put distance of 9.04 meters (29 ft.-8 in.) and 25th with a discus throw of 30.35 meters (99 ft.-7 in.)
