Sakakini Breaks Program 800 meter Record

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The UT Dallas track & field team sent three runners to compete at the Trinity Last Chance Meet Sunday night.

The meet was highlighted Trent Sakakini once again breaking his own school in the 800 meter run. He finished second in 1:53.27, topping his old record by .26 seconds.

Graeme Maclean was seventh in the 800 with a personal-best time of 1:55.53.

Rami Habbas finished in fifth place in the 400 meter dash in 49.78 seconds.
