RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas junior Devan Bailey was named to the College Sports Communicators Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-America Third Team on Thursday.

With a 4.00 career grade point average in Mathematics, the Waterford, Pa. native became the first Academic All-American in program history. Bailey repeated as the American Southwest Conference's 10,000-meter medalist at the ASC Track & Field Championship. Bailey is a two-time All-ASC Second Team selection in cross country and earned All-Conference First Team in track & field twice. Bailey holds the program's 10K track record in 32:35.28.
