AUSTIN, Texas - The #15 UT Dallas men's golf team won its third event of the season, taking first place at the Linda Lowery Invitational by 11 strokes at The Hills Country Club Tuesday.

The Comets shot a 295-309=604 (+28), finishing ahead of host Concordia Texas (615/+39) as well as 10 other teams.

Senior Davis Archer (74-76=150) and sophomore Tyler Durden (71-79=150) both tied for third place with a +6. Senior Daniel Shofner took sixth place with a 72-79=151 (+7) and junior Andrew Chow was tied for eighth with a 78-76=154 (+10). Junior Charlie Lippa had an 82-78=160 (+16) to tie for 25th.

Durden and Chow each recorded five birdies in the tournament, while Shofner and Archer made four.

The Comets will be back in action at the West Region Invitational in Georgetown, Texas beginning April 8.
