HENDERSON, Nev. - The UT Dallas men's golf team finished 20th after two rounds at the NCAA Division III Championship at The Legacy Golf Club Wednesday.
The 14th-ranked Comets shot a 290-305=595, missing the 18-team cut by seven strokes.Â
Senior
Davis Archer led UTD with a 72-74=146 (+2). He sank seven birdies and tied for 52nd. Sophomore
Tyler Durden tied for 58th with a 70-77=147 (+3). He made four birdies and one eagle over the two rounds.
Junior
Cole Wiley made five birdies while shooting a 74-79=153 (+9), tying for 125th. Sophomore
David Salazar tied for 138th and recorded a 75-79=154 (+10). Senior
Daniel Shofner had an 81-74=155 (+11), tying for 147th.Â
This was the third NCAA appearance in program history and second in as many years.
