DUNCAN, Okla. - The UT Dallas men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Hrnciar at Territory Golf & Country Club Tuesday.
The Comets were 22-over-par with a 292-284-310=886. UT Permina Basin won the 12-team tournament with a score of -15.
Senior
Tyler Durden paced UTD with a 71-73-77=221 (+5), tying for 21st. Freshmen
Banks Tessier and
Grant McCleskey tied for 27th, each shooting a 222 (+6). Senior
Davis Grindle and junior
Nick Slobbe tied for 33rd with a 224 (+8).
Durden led the Comets with 11 birdies for the tournament, while Grindle made 10 and Slobbe had nine.
UTD will play again at Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational in Amarillo, Texas, beginning Tuesday, October 14.
