RICHARDSON, Texas - Six members of the UT Dallas women's soccer team were named All-Lone Star Conference, the league announced Wednesday.
The Comets finished the year 12-3-3 overall and 9-3-2 in LSC play, placing fourth in the standings in their inaugural season.

Gabby Thompson was selected to the First Team and senior midfielder
Chelsea Vilca earned Second Team honors. Graduate student defender
Lina Ullen and sophomore forward
Jules Chavez were Third Team picks. Defender
Kira Schkade and forward
Maya Walker earned All-Freshman Team honors.
Thompson, from Whitehouse, Texas, led the LSC with 12 goals and 29 points and was tied for the lead with four game-winning goals. She also came up with five assists and was 2-for-2 on penalty kicks.
Vilca, from Hickory Creek, Texas, was second in the conference in shots and shots on goal and tied for the lead with four game-winners. She recorded 10 goals and a team-best six assists.
Ullen, from Dorotea, Sweden, never came off the field in the 17 games she started at center back. She had two goals and an assist and contributed to seven shutouts.
Chavez, from Lewisville, Texas, started all 18 games and posted eight goals and five assists for 21 points. She also had two game-winning goals.
Schkade, from Spring, Texas, started all 18 contests at center back and had a game-winning goal and one assist.Â
Walker, from Carrollton, Texas, also started all 18 games and played every field position for the Comets. She recorded a pair of goals and one assist.
