ROCKWALL, Texas - The UT Dallas women's golf sits in second place after the opening round of the Texas Cup at Buffalo Creek Country Club Monday.
The Comets shot a 325 (+37) and trails the leader Our Lady of the Lake (320/+32) by five shots. Dallas is in third place with a 339 (+51) and LeTourneau is in fourth at 344 (+56).
Individually, senior
Danielle Dimafelix shot 78 (+6) and is four shots off the co-leaders at fourth place. Senior
Sofia Trevino and sophomore
Andra Anderson each had an 82 (+10), tying for eighth and senior
Maddy Vilven wrapped up the scoring with an 83 (+11), good for 10th.Â

Hayden Trost each made one birdie on Monday.
The Texas Cup will wrap with the final round at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
