KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Three members of the UT Dallas men's basketball team were selected to the 2024-25 Honors Court, selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). In addition, the Comets as a team were recognized with the NABC's Team Academic Excellence Award.
Seniors Nicholas Donnelly,
Nnamdi Edeoga and junior
Everett Bates represented the Comets on the Honors Court.
Donnelly, from Flower Mound, Texas, was a four-time Academic All-ASC selection and named to the ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team. He graduated with a degree in Finance.
Edeoga, from Punta Gorda, Fla., was a three-time Academic All-ASC pick. He graduated with a degree in Healthcare Management.
Bates, from Houston, was a three-time Academic All-ASC selection and was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma. He is majoring in Business Administration.
The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.
Over 2,400 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court and nearly 400 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for 2024-25. A full list of Honors Court recipients is available by clicking here, and the following programs earned Team Academic Excellence Awards:
