RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Dallas track & field teams will begin the outdoor season Friday at the TCU Alumni Invite in Fort Worth.
The 2026 Comets will also compete at the David Noble Relays in San Angelo, the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, the Trinity Invitational in San Antonio, the Bill Schmidt Invite in Denton, the SMU Invite in Dallas and finish the season with the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Canyon, Texas on May 7-9.
Head coach
Danielle Kcholi, who started the program in 2021, and assistant
Zach Richardson will have the deepest roster yet in year six.
The Comets return 14 student-athletes from the women's squad and the men's team has 16 back.
Freshmen

Saniya Bosby (jumps), sophomore
Alex Bozhilov (distance) and junior
Zachary Carroll (jumps/throws) were named to the LSC Athletes to Watch List.
Mason set the 400-meter school record in the indoor season and was the anchor for the 4x400 relay. Bosby broke the indoor records for high jump and long jump during indoor.
Bozhilov, who earned All-LSC honors in cross country in the fall, claimed a pair of school indoor records - the mile and 3,000 meters. Carroll holds the UTD outdoor record in the javelin and the indoor mark in long jump.
