WICHITA FALLS, Texas - The UT Dallas men's golf team is in 10th place after the first two rounds at the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club on Monday.
The Comets shot a 295-296=591 (+23) on the par-71 course. Out of 18 teams, UTD has leads over host #30 Midwestern State and #48 Colorado School of Mines.
Senior
Tyler Durden paced the Comets by tying for 12th place with a 71-72=143 (+1). He sank six birdies on the day and recorded his ninth round of par or better this season.
Freshman
Banks Tessier is tied for 38th with a 74-74=148 (+6) and a team-best eight birdies. Sitting in a tie for 57th place is
Gabe Haslauer at 72-79=151 (+9) and six birdies.
Hunter Wolfinger shot a 155 (+13) and
Cole Wiley recorded a 156 (+14).
The Comets will wrap up the tournament on Tuesday.
