RICHARDSON, TX (05.08.19) - UT Dallas women's tennis players Kathy Joseph and Sindhu Ravula have been selected as one of 16 doubles teams to participate in the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Individual Championships, held May 24-26 at Stowe Stadium in Kalamazoo, Mich.

The duo becomes the first UTD doubles tandem of either gender to be chosen to participate in the Individual Championships. The Comet women's team collected their second-ever American Southwest Conference title this past weekend and will compete in the regional round of the NCAA D-III Women's Tennis Championships this weekend Claremont, Calif.

Joseph and Ravula posted a 12-0 record together this spring heading into this weekend and were both tabbed All-ASC and first team All-ASC West in both singles and doubles this season. Joseph was named the ASC West Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

In addition, Joseph was selected as an altermate for the 32-player singles draw.
