RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas senior Rebecca Jackson was named to the 2023-24 Academic All- America® Women's Tennis Second Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators Tuesday. 

Jackson, from Austin, Texas, becomes the 18th Academic All-America selection in school history and the second women's tennis player. She was the 2023 ASC East Division Most Valuable Player and is a three-time all-conference selection. Jackson was named to 2022-23 and 2023-24 CSC Academic All-District team and was the 2022-23 ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She was selected as the 2021 ASC Tournament MVP and on the 2022 and 2023 ASC All-Tournament Teams, winning four consecutive league titles. She earned ASC East Player of the Week four times. She is a three-time Academic All-ASC selection from 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23 seasons, was the 2023-24 ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor recipient and was a 2022-23 Chi Alpha Sigma Inductee.

Jackson graduated with a degree in Neuroscience and a 4.00 grade point average.
