RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas senior Megan Zeng was selected as the American Southwest Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Zeng, from Austin, Texas, picked up the Comets' only point in a 6-1 loss to Southeastern Oklahoma State Friday. She won at number two singles over Larissa Giraldi-Correa 2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-5). Zeng also teamed with Reika Nagai for a 6-2 loss at number one doubles.

This is fourth career Player of the Week award for Zeng.

UT Dallas will host Hardin-Simmons at 1 p.m. at the UTD Tennis Courts Friday.
