RICHARDSON, Texas - UT Dallas had four student-athletes named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, Tuesday.

Graduate student Anna Yellen, senior Cierra Trigg and juniors Amanda Crowninshield and Liv Pedigo were honored. To be eligible, a student-athlete must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and play in 90 percent of their team's contests or start 50 percent of games.

Yellen, a forward from El Paso, Texas, led the Comets with 279 points (11.6 per game) and 52 three-pointers made. She recorded 103 rebounds (4.3 per game), 36 assists, 30 steals and 10 blocks and shot 38.4 percent (98-of-255) from the field, 36.9 percent (52-of-141) from outside and 77.5 percent (31-of-40) from the free throw line. Yellen is pursuing her masters in Business Administration.

Trigg, a guard from Allen, Texas, is placed on the Academic All-District Team for the third time in her career. She scored 137 points (5.7 per game) with 69 rebounds, 29 assists, 12 steals and three blocks. Trigg shot 32.4 percent (44-for-136) overall, 31.4 percent (27-of-86) from three-point range and 73.3 percent (22-of-30) at the line. She is majoring in Physics.

Crowninshield, a guard from Cypress, Texas, averaged 4.3 points per game with 102 points, 51 rebounds, 40 assists, nine steals and a block as a point guard. She shot 34.4 percent (43-for-125) from the field and made 10 three-pointers. Crowninshield, who is also the President of the UTD Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, is majoring in Computer Information and Technology Management.

Pedigo, a forward from Bells, Texas, recorded 97 points (4.0 per game) with 86 rebounds, 16 assists, 10 steals and three blocks. She shot 36.4 percent (40-for-110) from the floor, was 2-of-11 from three-point range and 15-of-35 at the line. Pedigo is majoring in Psychology.
