UT DALLAS ATHLETICS HALL OF HONORS
BRETT ROSEN was an immediate impact player for the UT Dallas baseball team upon his arrival prior to the 2006 season.
Â
A junior transfer from Brookhaven College, Brett Rosen was a two-year starter at second base for the Comets and lifted UTD to a 67-27 overall record during his two years with the program and their only NCAA Division III National Tournament appearance as a senior in 2007.
Â
The native of Plano was a two-time All-West Region honoree for the Comets and was tabbed Region Player of the Year and second team ABCA All-American. A two-time All-ASC East pick for the Comets, Brett still holds the UTD career record with a .396 batting average and to this day ranks second in doubles and runs scored, fourth in RBI, fifth in hits and eighth in home runs, all in just two seasons with the program.

Brett earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminology in 2007 and joined the Dallas Police Department in March of 2009.
