KEVIN WHITE
Men's Soccer 2005-2008

KEVIN WHITE was twice named the American Southwest Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year during his four-year career with the Comets from 2005-2008.

White, who was also a two-time First Team All-Region selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) in 2007 and 2008, scored 35 goals in his final two seasons and earned his way into the UTD record book.

White scored 18 goals in 2007, but none were bigger than his final goal in the ASC Championship match. UTD had battled top-seeded University of the Ozarks to a 1-1 tie through regulation and were three minutes into overtime when White earned UTD its second ASC title in program history with the game-winning goal.

His 2007 total of 18 goals included a four-goal game against Howard Payne, and stood as the Comets' single-season scoring record until it was surpassed in 2013. White currently stands third all-time in points scored (91) and goals (39).

A native of Sugar Land, Texas, White was recruited out of Dulles High School and chose UTD because of its educational reputation and the fact that the Comets had just won the 2004 ASC title.  After graduating with a BA degree in American Studies in 2009, he coached with club programs and taught physical education classes at a local community college. In addition, White volunteered as an assistant coach at UT Dallas several seasons before becoming a fulltime assistant coach in 2013.
