SCOTT RODGERS spent three seasons as the Comets' sixth man before joining the starting lineup and becoming a Second Team National Association of Basketball Coaches All-American during his senior campaign. That same season, he was a NABC All-District and D3hoops.com All-Region selection, CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team, All-ASC First Team and the ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Rodgers was also the UTD Male Student-Athlete of the Year in 2009-10. In 113 games, Rodgers ranks sixth in UTD history with 1,143 points and is fourth with 138 steals. He also recorded 366 rebounds, 200 assists and eight blocked shots. He helped the Comets go 85-28 in four years, earning an ASC title in 2009 and reaching the NCAA Division III Elite 8 as a junior and Sweet 16 as a senior. Rodgers graduated in the fall of 2009 with a bachelor's in Finance & Business Administration and earned his Master of Science in Finance in 2010.
