UT DALLAS ATHLETICS HALL OF HONORS
SCOTT MAURER was the second-ever Comet to earn All-America honors, claiming first team accolades from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) in 2004.
Maurer finished his career with a school-record 75.14 scoring average, recording 15 rounds of par or better during his time with the program. In 2003, he was named All-ASC after recording a school-best 74.94 scoring average. Maurer helped the Comets to their only ASC championship in 2003 and sparked the squad to a 14th place finish at the NCAA Division III National Championships that spring. He becomes the first Comet golfer to be inducted into the Hall of Honors.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from UTD in 2004.
