DANA HILZENDAGER was an American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American Honorable Mention as a sophomore in 2010 and was a three-time All-Region performer three-times. She was also a three-time All-ASC First Team selection as well as a three-time Academic All-ASC honoree. Hilzendager was also named the ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year in 2012 and earned College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District Second Team honors in 2011. A two-time AVCA and five-time ASC Player of the Week, she ranks second in program history in career kills (1,264), third in kills per set (2.90), 10th in hitting percentage (.229), sixth in aces (120), second in digs (1,593), eighth in blocks (237), second in points (1,517.5) and second in double-doubles (51). In Hilzendager's four seasons, the Comets went 100-22 overall and won the ASC title as a freshman. She graduated in 2013 with a BA in Criminology.
