UT DALLAS ATHLETICS HALL OF HONORS
MADI HESS was a WBCA All-American for the Comets, as she played two seasons from 2013-15. She was an All-ASC First Team and D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team selection as a senior. Hess earned Academic All-ASC and CoSIDA Academic All-District honors and was the ASC Distinguished Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2015, as well as the UTD Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 2014-15. She holds the school records for career three-point percentage (44.7) and assists per game (4.4), season three-point percentage (45.9), assists (158) and assists per game (5.1) and most free throws made in a game (15). Hess averaged 9.8 points, and 6.1 rebounds per game with 245 assists and 89 steals in two seasons. The Comets went 47-11, won the ASC title in 2015 and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. Hess earned a BA in Emerging Media & Communications in 2015.
